The United Nations Organization and the International Development Cooperation
The United Nations Organization in partnership with the Government of the State of Rio de Janeiro will organize seminar “The United Nations and the International Development Cooperation”, on June 16th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Government of Rio de Janeiro Pavilion (Athletes Park). The seminar will include Aula Magna on Sustainability as well as six high-level panels aligned with the Dialogues on Sustainable Development , held in ambit of the Rio+20 Conference. The seminar aims to share perceptions and identify challenges on the sustainable development’s agenda. The event will also aim to reinforce the UN System’s commitment to advance partnerships on following subjects: Sustainable Development and Poverty Eradication, Unemployment and Decent Work, Communication, Technology and Innovation, Humanitarian Response and Risk Prevention and Sustainable Cities.
