Global Town Hall
O Global Town Hall, principal evento organizado pelo ICLEI (Governos Locais pela Sustentabilidade), durante o Rio + 20 (Conferência das Nações Unidas sobre Desenvolvimento Sustentável). Esse evento é um encontro internacional de municípios que buscam a melhoraria e proteção dos bens comuns globais, no que diz respeito a um futuro urbano sustentável.
Esse fórum propõe debates inovadores, acordos e propostas sobre os principais temas de sustentabilidade do cenário atual, como: a chave para o desenvolvimento sustentável com o aumento populacional; mudanças climáticas; escassez da água; a perda da biodiversidade; a economia verde; o desenvolvimento da governança local no nível de global.
